Egalitarianism

A social and political philosophy asserting the equality of all men, especially in their access to the rights and privileges of their society.  In the context of the Christian church is the teaching that all people, men and women alike, are to be treated as equal. Meaning  that women are to share all offices within the church equally with men including the the office of a pastoral hood.  This position ignores the role of Federal Headship, and  male leadership  in the church. Thus, has further ramification making the family is invalid by ignoring proper headship roles. The biblical view is called Complimentarianism.
