Now that Elephant Room 2 is over some people’s apple cart of idols have been tipped over by some of the comments that I made on the Twitter account. Where there seems to be plenty of Wavering, Sidestepping and Excuses by those upset my Tweets. I would suggest to They people to read our article Who’s Your Favorite Pastor? because it seems that you are placing worship of a Pastor over God. It seems that one particular person has a very low opinion of the comments that I made in regards to this event, this person will stay anonymous for the time being. My comments were focused on the nature of the event and that it seemed to be more like a staged and scripted reality TV program than an actual real coming together real unscripted interaction and debate. Another area of focus during this event was the issue with Chris Rosebrough and his almost arrest for just trying to attend the ER 2 .(Rosebrough is an apologist and host of Fighting for the Faith found on Pirate Christian Radio.) I also focused on that it seemed to me at least to be an underlying agenda of unity over essential of doctrinal differences where unity cannot be found to this event. In other words we should all just get along and give each other a hug and forget about doctrine.
Thus this be why I am writing this little piece today to address this person and their problems with me and their inability to answers my simple questions. A certain person claiming to be close friends with the MacDonalds and on the planning committee for the ER 2 didn’t like what I had to say. When I addressed this person and they told that they were on the planning committee and personal friends with the MacDonalds I thought, “good maybe I would get some answers.” Instead, I was told such things that I was immature, damaging Christ for doing such things and I shouldn't be mangling a man of God this way for making comments on Twitter. This person also said that I am ignorant of the topic and have no idea what I'm talking about.
Well it is obvious that this person has some serious pastor worship issues going on here and needs to stop filling his or her head with what the pastor says and read what the bible says. They seemed to be falling for the mess with the anointed one fallacy. First of all let me clarify this, I don't have anything personally against James MacDonald or any pastor at the ER 2 event or even this person who has made those accusations. I am sure they are all really nice people and would make great friends on a personal level. What I do have a problem is with what they are teaching and some of their doctrinal stances. In the book of First John we are told how to judge the doctrinal fruits of people to see if they are believers or not. We are allowed to rightly and justly judge the doctrine of others. If what someone is teaching does not line up with the word of God we should not be listening to what they are saying.
Now to address the topic at hand, when this person expressed that they were friends of the MacDonald’s and then the committee board I asked some very pointed questions. First of all, why was Chris Rosebrough denied access to the event? Secondly I asked. If this event was not a scripted theodrama with a hidden agenda behind it to merely suppressed doctrinal differences and promote unity over truth to please prove me wrong. To which this person than replied to stop texting them that this is not going anywhere at which point I did stop because this person obviously could not or would not answer these questions. Again let’s remember this person is still a brother or sister in the Lord and we need to be respectful because they are defending what they believe is right just as I am doing here.
Now the reason I asked these pointed questions is because if that person has the connections they claimed to have than we should have some answers to why Rosebrough was not aloud to attend. Even more importantly they should have been able to tell me why I was wrong for thinking that this was a scripted theodrama reality TV program liked event.
I think that anyone can put together the real answers to my questions even without this persons answers and the fact that the person won’t or couldn’t answer my questions even gives the questions greater clear buoyancy. The answers to my questions are quite simple. Chris Rosebrough was not allowed into the ER 2 event because who it may be McDonald or someone else does not want people there that are outside their camp of same thinking about unity all above agenda. As far as it being a scripted theodrama version of a reality TV show. Well this is proven in a roundabout way by the answer to the first question. If this was not a theodrama than James McDonald would have had speakers that were outside of the camp, who actually had some biblical prudence to bring to the table against people like Jakes and Furtick. The Fact that Rosebrough was not allowed to even attend, not speak, just attend in a roundabout way proves that there is more to this than is being let on to.
It seems that person was bent more on ad hominem attacks than dealing with the issues that I brought up in my tweets both at the time of the ER 2 event and in our conversations afterwards. When they did try to address me with issues like saying I was mangling a man of God on Twitter. I of course explained to them like I did here that it was nothing against James McDonald personally only a critique and calling out of doctrinal differences. I also asked them to prove how I was doing so pointing out to them that the Apostle Paul did the very same thing in the New Testament. That is called out false teachers and bad doctrinal teachings. To which I got no real answer too instead just another ad hominem attack.
What is really sad is that if this person is friends with James MacDonald and was on a planning committee he or she should a have had some answers to my questions not just ad hominem attacks and category mistakes. I was really looking forward to hearing what this person had to say for the reasons why Chris Rosebrough was not allowed in to the event. I also would have liked to know if what I have concluded about this being more of a scripted theodrama of a reality TV show than a conference to hash out doctrinal differences. Like I told this person upon proof If I am wrong about this I would apologize but instead of giving me answers or proof I received mockery and insult. Only time will tell if we will ever know the full answers to these questions.
