Thank You James MacDonald for
leaving the gospel collation
The question I beg to ask and that many I am sure are wanting to know the question to is exactly what are those very different views? Also do those very different views have anything to do with MacDonald's association with the Modalist T.D. Jakes of late and the Elephant Room 2?
James MacDonald's departure from TGC makes perfect sense both in timing of ER2 and especially with his close association with Bishop Jakes. Now that MacDonald is free from the constraints of being under the thumb of TGC he can now openly voice his opioions and thoughts without being held accountable by TGC when he talks with Bishop Jakes in the ER 2 event.
While the email at Apprising Ministries paints MacDonald's resigning as a friendly cooperative departure of friends that have out grown each other. One has to wonder if this departure was promoted by TGC on part of MacDonald association with Bishop Jakes, Steven Furtick and the whole Code Orange Revival event. The reason for this questioning of attitudes about the departure is because of the over all way the email was written. It seem to be written in the tone of two people doing public relations face saving not to harm either persons reputation. In other words, James MacDonald's resigning was not so much his doing than TGC coming to him and asking him nicely to step down and save face or to put it bluntly we can do this the easy way or the hard way.
Now that James MacDonald has left the reservation of TGC will we see him leave the reservation on many of his solid biblical teachings that made Harvest Chapel Church and James MacDonald a known name among true followers of Christ. Time will only tell if MacDonald will hold to what he has had at the start of his career or move towards the way of Steven Furtick, Perry Noble, Bishop Jakes and other wolves in sheep's clothing. If MacDonald's associations of late are any clue to where he is headed in the future it does not look good. Between his association with Bishop Jakes, ER2, the poorly out of context Sunday morning message at COR on Malachi 3:6-12 and now leaving TGC we should all be praying that MacDonald returns to the reservation of truth and repents for his poor choices of late.
If James MacDonald has truly left the reservation of biblical truth and joined the wolves than all we can do is really thank him. He has in a sense made it easier to identify where his associations lie and easier to identify the heterodoxical teachings that will follow with his new associations.
