RICHARD HAAS
Director/Founder
Hello my name is Richard Haas I am the founder and CEO of Empowered by Christ. I was born & raised in Wisconsin & have lived in various parts of the country including Missouri & Kansas. I was raised Lutheran and have attended many different denominations including Southern Baptist, AOG, and Calvary Bible. After much study and prayer God opened my eyes and called me to the realization that I am Reformed . I am currently attending a local Reformed Church.
I am married to my beautiful bride of 10 years & have two wonderful sons. I enjoy biking with my boys, when time allows, and spending time with my wife. If you give me the choice between reading a good Theology book, studying about cults or debating or watching sports, I will take the first options, not a big fan of sports.
I have been serving my Lord Jesus Christ since He called me to Him in 2000. I am currently working towards a MDIV in Theology at Masters College and have a degree in Business Management. During my travels through out the states & after visiting many churches God laid it upon my heart that His people needed to be equipped and trained in the defense of their faith (apologetics). It seems so many of the churches today are failing in this area because so many churches don't know what they really believe themselves. So in January 2009 I founded Empowered by Christ along with the help of long time friend and brother in Christ Joe Carlone. Our Goal is to equip believers so that they know what they believe and why they believe it. So that they can boldly proclaim the name of their Lord Jesus Christ without hesitation or restriction. Finally that those believer can defend truth Christianity against those teaching so many of the false doctrines we see today in American "Christianity".
I specificity deal within the field of Apologetics & within the operations of Empowered by Christ in the areas related to exposing False Teachers, Christian & Non-Christian cults, Theology and Logic. I am now also host of our radio program Empowered by Christ Radio, which can be found on Blog Talk Radio and iTunes.

JOE CARLONE
President/Co-Founder
Joe Carlone is the Co-Founder of Empowered by Christ. Joe was born, raised and lives in Wisconsin . Joe was born in to a Catholic family. At age 19 he denounced his belief in Roman Catholicism as God was calling him to follow the true Christ of the bible and start his relationship with Christ as a born again believer. Over the years Joe's love for the Lord and the defense of the faith has spurred him into the realm of Christian Apologetics.
When Joe is not doing apologetics he enjoys spending time out doors, astronomy, debates, SciFi movies, and reading. He also is an avid storm chaser and loves to talk about weather related topics.
Joe attended the University of Milwaukee and has a Bachelors in Psychology and a Minor in Chemistry. Joe is also currently working on a biblical degree in Theology and Biblical Studies. Joe uses both his knowledge and experiences in Psychology and Chemistry to help glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in the defense of the Christian Faith. Joe's specialty within apologetics is in the areas of Logical arguments, the Trinity, dealing with skeptics of the faith, and cults.

CHARLIE BRENNAN
Vic-President/Director of Apologetics and Out Reach
I am, Charlie Brennan I am a student at the college of Du Page with a background in religious studies, and will be getting my BA in religious studies. After that I am going to be going to seminary for my masters in divinity, and serve the Lord . I was born and raised in Illinois and was raised in the United Methodist church. I went to that church until I was about 18 when I stopped all together. I become a Calvinist (reformed) when I was 19, and at that point I was saved. I have been serving our Lord ever since then. I meet Rich through the blog I was running, Reformed Christian Ministries, and I did a lot of work there as someone who was fighting the heresy that was going around, but have since spent more and more time helping out Rich at Empowered by Christ. I deal with all five points of the TULIP but I have spent most of my time studying Limited atonement. I specialize in that part of the TULIP. I am also working on writing a book on the subject of the Atonement of Christ. I also deal with helping college age kids, and the fights they have within the world of God hating colleges.
